Murphy’s Irish Pub held their 7th bi-annual Charity Golf Day at the prestigious Meadow Springs Golf & Country Club on June 6th to raise fund for local branch of People Who Care. Murphy’s ‘just for laughs’ tournament had a record number of 64 participants.
Murphy’s Charity Golf Day included bus transport too & from the pub to golf club, a few cheeky drinks, lunch, canapé dinner, awards ceremony & charity raffles & auction. Edward Janiec, owner of Murphy’s Irish Pub, is pleased to announce $7185.75 was raised for People Who Care Mandurah (South West Depot).  People Who Care is a volunteer agency provides gardening, cleaning & transport services to the aged. The funds raised will go toward essential home maintenance equipment to specifically support the aged & frail in the Peel Region.  New equipment will allow volunteers to complete their work in less time which will ultimately help more people in Mandurah.
Murphy’s Irish Pub would like to thank their sponsors: Horizontal Falls Seaplane Adventures, Petal Parcels, Mandurah Bus Charters (and Tom for driving), Meadow Springs Golf & Country Club,  Scoop Deluxe Beard Balms, Reading Cinemas Mandurah, Silks Thai Restaurant, Ed Pecnik from Rio Tinto & Stephen Harkness from People Who Care.
